A massive thank you to our global Movember Community whose fundraising year after year makes the work, we do possible.

Here are 10 men’s health initiatives your funds are supporting:

1. Where your support goes: investing in young men's health research in Ireland

Across Ireland, community programs are already helping young men navigate fatherhood, friendship and sport. But tight budgets mean their impact rarely gets measured. Movember's new research grants embed researchers directly inside these programs, in GAA clubs and beyond, to build the evidence that helps them grow instead of disappear. Find out more.

2. Advocating in parliament for men's health in Ireland

In 2009, Ireland became the first country in the world to publish a national men's health policy. This May, Movember brought that legacy back to the Oireachtas, screening its Real Face of Men's Health film for TDs and Senators to push for the sustained funding and political backing community programs need to keep saving lives. Find out more.

3. Building the evidence base for community-led men's health programs

Community organizations are already changing the lives of boys and young men, but that work is often under-recognized and under-evidenced. Movember's new Community Men's Health Research Program is investing in 16 early-career researchers across Canada, Ireland, the UK and California to embed within these organizations and prove what's working. 4. Extra time with dad: why Irish fathers need more paternity leave

Irish dads get just two weeks of statutory paternity leave. Ireland is fifth from the bottom in Europe when it comes to paid support for dads, wholose nearly three-quarters of their income on average just to be there for their newborn. Movember's new report, ‘Extra Time With Dad’ calls on the government to establish a dedicated Paternity Leave Working Group to expand paternity leave provision and tackle the financial and cultural barriers to paternity leave uptake in Ireland. 5. Inside the manosphere: what young men actually see on TikTok

Movember researchers analyzed the real TikTok viewing histories of 142 young men to build a world-first tool for mapping masculinity content online. They found harmful narratives rarely stand alone — they're woven into everyday feeds of sport, gaming and fitness, which is exactly why they resonate. Find out more.

6. Know your testicular cancer facts

Testicular cancer is the #1 cancer among young men. But most guys don’t know it. Our annual Know Thy Nuts campaign, held during Testicular Cancer Awareness Month in April, encourages young men to know their risk, know their nuts and know what to do if something doesn’t feel quite right down there. We break down the risk factors, symptoms and treatment options, plus how to do a simple self-exam in the shower. Find out more.

7. What we actually know about esports and mental health

Two things can be true at once: esports offers real connection and skill-building, while also carrying real mental health risks like burnout, harassment and anxiety. Movember's largest-ever review of esports research (77% of participants men) found the evidence too fragmented for simple rules of thumb, laying the groundwork for the first mental health guidelines built specifically for esports players. 8. 100 days on: turning conversation into action in Ireland

Since Movember Ireland launched The Real Face of Men's Health report, the country has seen its first Dáil statements on men's health in years, €2 million in new counselling funding, and a new HSE program manager. Six months after the report’s launch, over 40 leaders gathered in Dublin to build on that momentum and align the sector's next moves. Find out more.

9. In Ireland, prostate cancer survival isn't equal

Where a man lives in Ireland can directly affect his chances of surviving prostate cancer. Men in rural and disadvantaged communities face later diagnoses and longer waits for care, Movember is funding research at University Hospital Limerick to understand why, and help close the gap. Find out more.

10. Confession Box: relationship advice young men actually trust

Young men are hungry for relationship guidance – but there’s a gap between where they are going for answers and finding good advice. Movember's Confession Box is a YouTube series that is a space for real, unfiltered conversations reflecting how young men actually talk about relationships and helping us better understand what truly resonates with them. After watching the series, 69% of young men said they'd already used its advice in real life. Find out more.
