Kiltegan GAA: Mos for the Lads (and Everyone Else)

This November, the whole of Kiltegan GAA is getting behind Movember. Players, mentors, committee, supporters, young and old: if you’re part of the club, you’re part of this.

Why we’re doing it

In rural Ireland, the GAA club is often the heart of the parish. It’s where we meet up, have the craic and look out for each other. But too many men around here still find it hard to say when they’re not okay, and isolation can creep in quietly.

Our club has felt that loss. We’re doing this for the people we’ve lost, the families who miss them, and anyone in our community going through a tough time right now. They’re the reason we show up.

Around the world, 60 men die by suicide every hour. We want Kiltegan to be a place where nobody struggles alone and asking “how are you really?” is as normal as asking about Sunday’s match.

What we’re doing

Growing Mos: Expect some fairly tragic efforts around the club this month. Judging will be harsh.
Club events: Stay tuned for updates

Our goal: €1,500

Every euro goes towards men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer. We’d also love to raise more than any club around us, so let’s show them how it’s done.

Donate, share the page, and check in on someone today. Kiltegan Abú!
