The Mo Awards 2026 legends

Movember
5 minutes read time

It’s our night to pause, raise a glass and give back. A chance to recognise standout supporters and thousands of fundraisers who gave their all in 2025.

On Thursday 21st May 2026, the Dean Hotel in Dublin played host to The Mo Awards. Over 120 Movember fundraisers, official partners, friends and ambassadors packed in to celebrate an extraordinary year for men's health, and the incredible Mo community that made it happen.

But before we get to the winners...

A panel of judges poured over an incredibly strong field of nominees to select winners across the categories. Every single person who champions men's health is already a legend in our eyes, but here are the ones we got to shout about on the night...

🥁 Drum roll...

Your 2025 winners

The Big Moustache on Campus: Trinity College Dublin

Trinity has been a cornerstone of Movember on campus for years, and 2025 was no different. With over 30 societies and teams getting involved, they made Movember impossible to ignore. From fundraising events to awareness initiatives, this college showed what's possible when students come together behind something that truly matters. Legends, the lot of them.

The Sports & Fitness Challenge: For Bernard

Sport brings people together in a way that's hard to replicate anywhere else, and this year's Sport & Fitness winners are a perfect example of that. This team came together to honour someone who mattered deeply to them, moving with shared purpose and showing up for each other every step of the way. A powerful, heartfelt campaign that reminded us all why we do this.

The Dublin Marathon Top Fundraiser: Amy Conlon

60 runners. 60 stories. One incredible day. The Dublin Marathon partnership continues to be one of the most inspiring parts of Movember. This year Amy Conlon stood out from an already exceptional group. She went above and beyond. Not just on race day, but throughout the entire journey. Thank you, Amy. You're a class act.

New category: The All-Ireland Mo Championship: Tubbercurry Gaa, Sligo

The All-Ireland Mo Championship celebrates the grassroots clubs and communities across Ireland who brought people together for men's health. And what a way to kick it off, Tubbercurry GAA from Sligo took the inaugural title with passion, commitment and serious community spirit. This one's going to be a hotly contested category for years to come. Well done lads.

New category: Movember Hall Of Fame: 20 Incredible Fundraisers

This recognition is reserved for a remarkable group of fundraisers who have each raised over €10,000 for men's health. That's not just impressive, for the men whose lives that money reaches, it's genuinely life-changing. We are so proud to welcome the following legends into the inaugural Movember Hall of Fame:

Barry Hickey, Brian Gaffney, Conor Lilly, David Foley, Frank Hourihane, Jack Rooney, James Larkin, Jamie Casey, Lilian Foley, Mark Whitehead, Matt Curran, Max Glennon, Michael Cowman, Paul O'Neill, Paul O'Rourke, Peter Keane, Ross Galvin, Se McCormack, Tara O'Byrne and Sophia Rocca.

Take a bow, every single one of you. 👏

The Grow Award: Darren Walsh & Eamon McGrattan

Whether it's a subtle shadow or a full statement handlebar, every hair grown in November helps spark the conversations that change, and save lives. Darren and Eamon wore theirs with pride and purpose, and that means everything to us. Go on, lads.

Rookie of the Year: Jack Rooney

First year. Immediate impact. That's the Jack Rooney story. Taking part in Movember for the first time takes real courage and commitment, and Jack absolutely delivered, inspiring those around him throughout the campaign. A brilliant start. We hope it's the first of many, Jack.

The Move Award: B.A.D. Boys Marathon Challenge

Kilometre by kilometre, the B.A.D. Boys Marathon Challenge showed what it means to go the distance. Their challenge brought people together, got the community moving and kept the momentum going all month long. Every step raised awareness for men's health, and we couldn't be more inspired by them.

The Host Award: The Rose of Trinity

From quizzes and concerts to community fundraisers and one-of-a-kind events, the Host Award celebrates those who bring people together. The Rose of Trinity did exactly that. They created something unforgettable, built connection and reminded us that some of the most important conversations happen when people are in the same room. Hat tip to you.

Mo Your Own Way: For James

This is one of our favourite categories, because it celebrates the fact that there's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to Movember. For James showed real originality, creativity and heart in the way they chose to support men's health. That spirit is exactly what this movement is built on. Brilliant stuff.

The Ahead of the Game Award: Tara O'Byrne

Movember's Ahead of the Game programme (delivered in partnership with the GAA and GPA) is all about helping young players build mental fitness and better support one another. This award recognises someone who went above and beyond to bring those conversations to their community. Tara O'Byrne did that and more. We are so grateful for your dedication, Tara.

Services to the Mo: Stephen Caulfield

The final and most prestigious award of the night. Stephen has been a passionate Mo Bro since 2009, and if anything, his dedication has only grown over the years. From running marathons to championing Movember at IBM, to sharing his personal story with genuine openness and vulnerability, Stephen embodies everything the Mo community stands for.

He even picked up the Ahead of the Game Award earlier in the evening and then turned around to present the very award that was about to bear his name. Stephen, you are a true Mo legend. Thank you.

A night to remember

The Mo Awards was everything we hoped it would be, and then some. Laughter, tears, standing ovations and more than a few emotional speeches. The Dean Hotel gave it the perfect backdrop, and the Mo community brought the magic.

To every single person in that room, and to the wider community watching on: thank you. From the bottom of our very hairy hearts. Every Mo grown, every kilometre moved, every event hosted and every euro raised in the Movember 2025 campaign made a real difference to real people.

You are the reason this works. You are the heroes of change.
