Movember has been changing the face of men’s health for almost two decades. In fact, we've funded more than 1,250 projects globally since we started in 2003. Our mission is to enable men to live happier, healthier, longer lives. We do this by raising much-needed funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Here are 10 men’s health projects made possible, thanks to our amazing Mo community.
Online training for therapists working with men
Movember developed Men in Mind, an online training course to help mental health professionals provide the best possible treatment to men and boys who reach out for support. The 5-7-hour training course gives therapists the skills and confidence when working with men and boys. The hope is that this will lead to more effective, engaging treatment plans for men. The course was developed by an expert team, led by Movember’s Dr Zac Seidler. Tell me more.
