My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Hi all!

I joined Movember because funds raised go towards supporting men’s health projects in key focus areas – prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

These projects are funded either directly by Movember or through its men’s health partners. I believe in this organisation’s mission.

Men aren't exactly world renowned for looking after themselves and it's organisations like Movember, and its excellent volunteer culture, that has raised vital funds and awareness for Cancer research and for mental health/suicide prevention.

It's a few days to the anniversary of a close friend's death; I think of Jay often and the impact he's had on all of those who have been close to him. I dedicate my own personal effort during Movember to my good pal. Let’s do this for our fathers, brothers, partners, sons and friends who are dying too young.

As part of my effort, I'll be running and cycling a minimum of 400km through November (friends and locals are welcome to join me on runs/cycles! Get in touch!)

If any small effort contributes to improving and assisting just one life, it's been worth it.
