My name is Callum Sinclair and I have chosen to partake in Movember while also running 100km in the month of November aiming to raise money for the Movember project. Over the last month, I’ve cut out the alcohol and been exercising every day in preparation for the 4 weeks ahead. I’m sure too many of us reading this have been affected by suicide in various ways, especially for those of us growing up in Newbridge the last number of years. Every hour that passes by in our lives, 60 men make a decision to take their own life. Roughly 1 in 5 men experience suicidal thoughts at some stage in their lifetime. If you take 1 in 5 people out of a football stadium, a concert venue, or even a lecture hall, you would notice how large an amount of people that really is. 100% of proceedings will go towards over 1,250 Men’s Mental Health projects globally. I will also be looking for anyone who would be interested in going on one of these runs with me across the month. To support the cause or to support myself. I will donate €1 myself for every 1km anyone runs alongside me across the month. Doesn’t matter how well we know eachother, how fast you think you can run, your gender etc. This is about coming together to raise awareness for a good cause. All donations and shares will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
