My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

In 2023, my family had a personal encounter with one of Movember’s cause areas: my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was a scary time for my Dad, Mum and the 5 O'Connell brothers. Thankfully, my father has recovered but sadly many people aren’t as lucky. I became a Movember Ambassador and am growing a moustache this November to honour those struggling with a cancer diagnosis but also their family members - remember to look after yourself and talk to friends.

Ireland's Big Moustache On Campus Challenge

Welcome to Ireland's Big Moustache on Campus Challenge 2025! We already have so many incredible teams on board for Movember this year and have spotted loads happening this week! UCC Science Society are hosting a 3KM run, DCU SU are hosting a pub quiz, and there's a collab from DJ socs happening tonight in Pawn Shop Dublin.

This challenge brings together students from all over the country to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Send around your Mo Space link and get your friends involved over the month. Can we raise €215,000 as a group this year??

The college who tops the leaderboard in this challenge will win a Mo Award at our annual award ceremony and we have smaller weekly challenges for you to win prizes each week.

This week's challenge is to RAISE €50 on your individual Mo Space by FRIDAY 7TH OF NOVEMBER and you'll be sent a Movember pin.

The Results Are In!

The WINNER of Ireland's Big Moustache on Campus Challenge is…Trinity College Dublin, raising an incredible €55,920!

A huge thank you to ambassadors Finnian, Jack, Max and everyone at Trinity – you’ve smashed it with a brilliant campaign!

In 2nd place, we have the amazing University College Dublin, and taking 3rd place is the brilliant University College Cork.
