My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

2022 marks my 7th year battling Testicular Cancer and my 17th year battling Clinical Depression and I am absolutely steadfast in my determination to prove that I will not be beaten by either illness.

I have always been outspoken about my illnesses despite society not looking too favourably on men doing so. I have had one of my testicles removed, endured nearly three months of chemotherapy, spent ten days in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU) following surgery performed on only five people a year in Ireland, suffered two strokes, and been hospitalised four times for Depression.

On June 3rd I will be taking on Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world standing a gruelling 5,895 meters tall. Hiking the Machame Trail, myself and 31 other volunteers will spend seven days trying to conquer the mountain with the longest day consisting of 14 hours of trekking. I am doing this not only to prove to myself that I will not be beaten by my illnesses and to do my part to stop men suffering in silence, but also to raise much needed funds not only to research cures and treatments for victims of testicular cancer and mental health disorders, but to raise awareness of these life threatening illnesses and provide much needed support to the individuals and their families.

Please help me by donating now.

Week 1 Vs Week 9 of Chemotherapy.
The rule of thumb is you either gain or loose 10% of your weight. Guess which one I was!
