Ray Houghton, Packie Bonner, Tony Cascarino and John Aldridge are reigniting the Italia '90 flame by preparing their upper lips for cultivation this Movember.
John Aldridge, who has one of the most famous Mo’s in the history of Irish football, will be joined by fellow team mates Houghton, Bonner and Cascarino, encouraging men all over Ireland to embrace the Mo and raise much needed funds and awareness for Action Prostate Cancer. The four players were members of the legendary Irish Italia '90 team where Packie Bonner's save against Romania was crowned one of the most iconic moments in Irish sporting history.
Speaking about his involvement in Movember 2012, Houghton said, “Movember is hugely important, as men have to be fully aware of what cancers are out there. Quite a few of the football family have suffered from cancer, so it’s an important message to promote” – Check out the video here.
