In May 2012 Movember led the vanguard and hosted the inaugural Survivorship Summit, bringing together 40 experts from 7 countries to facilitate a global approach to survivorship programmes.

With more than 854,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas participating in Movember last year and official Movember campaigns in 21 countries across the globe in 2012, Movember is now uniquely placed to ask the world’s leading prostate cancer organisations to collaborate, listen, and learn from each other to make a tangible difference.

The Movember journey is just 30 days; but for those faced with the devastating diagnosis of prostate cancer, a different journey is just beginning. This diagnosis is the first step in the journey and survivorship is the next.
