My motivation

This September, myself and my Belgian Malinois, Kaiser, will be setting out on a journey from Ireland to the Dolomites in Italy, camping and hiking among some of Europe’s most incredible trails and mountains in Scotland, Germany and Austria along the way in hope to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health.

This journey is driven by something far greater than reaching the finish line though.

Mental health is a cause that is very personal to me. I’ve experienced the pain of losing close friends to their battles, and I’ve faced my own difficult moments too along the way. Those experiences have changed the way I see the world. They reminded me that behind every smile, every laugh, and every “I’m fine,” there can be a struggle that nobody else sees.

The outdoors has always had a special way of putting me back in control of myself and my mind by helping me slow down, reflect, and be present. Through this journey, I hope to encourage more men to make the time for themselves, keep moving forward and to check in on their friends

Every donation, no matter the size, will help support men’s mental health services through Movember. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
