Medical Overseas Voluntary Elective are collaborating with the Movember Foundation to raise money for both Men's Health and hospitals in the developing world.

The Movember Foundation is a charity initiative that encourages men to grow moustaches during November to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. They promote open conversations about men's health, raise funds for research and support programs, and improve men's well-being through education and resources and since 2003, have funded over 1250 men's health projects all around the world.

Medical Overseas Voluntary Elective (M.O.V.E) raises money for hospitals in the developing world. In the past donations have been used to buy vital medical equipment such as resuscitation masks, cannulas, gloves and gauze for St. Francis Hospital, Tanzania, medications for underprivileged patients in Hospital Santa Bárbara, Bolivia, a heart monitor and trolley for Livingstone General Hospital, Zambia and much more.

All money raised will be split equally between the Movember foundation and underfunded hospitals.

We have raised €945 through GoFundMe and €255 through our bakesale. At the end of the event all money will be split equally between the two charities.
We are experiencing technical difficulties with GoFundMe, and as our event is time constrained we have decided to finish our fundraising through the Movember Foundation's platform.

Thank you all so much for your kind donations!
