My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

For too long there has been a stigma surrounding poor mental health, especially that of men. They have suffered in silence and been told to take problems "like a man", instead of letting out their emotions, in a safe and comfortable environment.

Over the past ten years, the suicide rate among middle-aged men has been the highest among all age cohorts. No doubt this is a huge issue. Mental health is something that affects us all, whether it be that of our own or the poor mental health of our friends. That is why I have decided to fundraise for Movember this year. Enough is enough and we need to spread awareness regarding the issue of mental health awareness.

No daughter should grow up without a father, no sister should lose a brother, no mother should have to bury her son. The time has come to stand up and break the stigma.

We’re almost halfway through Movember, and you’re smashing it – but let’s see if we can take it to the next level!

Whether you’re growing, moving, or hosting events, every effort is making a real impact on men’s health. We’re raising funds to support mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Every euro counts, and we’re counting on you!

This week we have 10 Movember snapbacks up for grabs – every individual with €15 on their Mo Space by 5pm Friday 15th November will be entered into a draw.

Who’s ready to climb the leaderboard? Let’s get those donations in, and let’s make our college proud!
