My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer

Movember holds a profound significance for me, as it is a cause I've passionately championed for several years. This past September 14th, 2025, I faced the heart-breaking loss of one of my closest friends, Tommy, to cancer. Tommy fought with the courage and strength of a lion for over three years, but ultimately, the disease claimed him. Rest in peace, Tommy. His passing is a stark reminder of how cancer strikes at the heart of those we hold dear, leaving an irreplaceable void.

This battle is not unfamiliar to me. My father, who I miss dearly, succumbed to lung cancer, believing he was invincible and that the disease would simply disappear. It didn't. His belief that he could overcome it was tragically misplaced. And my wife, who is currently in remission, has faced her own arduous journey with cancer. This disease is relentless, affecting everyone it touches along the way.

Movember is a beacon for men, urging them to confront the reality that they are not invincible. It is a call to action for awareness, encouraging men to be honest with themselves and proactive about their health. My father's story is a testament to the importance of this message. I miss you, Dad, and I carry your memory as a reminder of the vital need for awareness and action.

Through Movember, we strive to create a world where men recognize the importance of their health and take steps to protect it. It is a movement that resonates deeply with me, as it honours the battles fought by those we love and seeks to prevent others from facing the same fate.
