Learn how members of Ireland's different emergency services get involved in Movember.

The Moustache Police
Every year the emrgency services in Ireland get hugely involved in Movember, raising much-needed funds and awareness for men all over the country.

An Garda Shiochána

The Mo has become part of the An Garda Siochána uniform during the month of Movember every year and together these highly engaged Mo Bros have raised €26,000 through their moustache activities. Growing a Movember moustache gives the Gardaí the opportunity to raise money for men's health and is also a great conversation starter furthering their relationship with the local community.

It's great because members of the Gardaí are allowed to show their lighter side while on duty and come together in what can be a very challenging job. They appeared on the Late Late Show in Movember 2012 and have been great supporters of Movember over the last few years.

You can join their strong Mo Member team here or donate to their hairy cause.

The Dublin Fire Brigade

The Dublin Fire Brigade will be holding an open day / coffee morning in No.3 Station, Phibsboro with all funds raised on the day in aid of the cancer and mens health charity Movember.

The station will be open to the public on the Sunday 30th November, 10:30-13:00hrs
All family, friends, children and supporters of the brigade are welcome !
Come along and meet the crew, see the trucks, fire demo unit and equipment they use on a daily basis, all with tea/coffee/cordial and goodies in your hand.

As this is the last day of Movember and the DFB Movember teams final shave off on hand will be Master Barbers from Sam's Barbers to help the team get that final clean shave.

It's great to see members of the emergency services take part in Movember and helping to spread the message of men's health far and wide throughout the country.
