Fillit.ie can connect you with Landlords offering discounts for Mo Hosting events - and they have some really interesting spaces to choose from.

Fillit - The Host (Partner) With the Most
Fundraising

Fillit.ie connects people looking for temporary venues/spaces with the landlords who want to rent them out. As our host partner, they have negotiated with many of the landlords who use their online platfom to offer really generous discounts for people hosting Mo events. They have an inventory of really interesting Mo Hosting venues: college libraries, art galleries, bars, Georgian reception rooms. Even a church.

Fillit makes a lot of sense: there are lots of owners of spaces who don't have the spaces booked all the time.Their online platform connects them with people looking to host a unique and bespoke event. Good news for Mo Bros and Sistas who are looking for some inspiration for their fundraising events. Doubly so with the Mo Hosting discounts being offered. And Fillit have quite a few hosting options outside of Dublin - what about a classroom in Griffith College, Cork for a table quiz option?

You can check out the ‘Mo Host Spaces’ on the Fillit website and pitch your fundraising ideas directly to the Landlord, who can either accept or decline through the site with no obligation.

So far this Movember, Fillit have hooked up some really successful events for us, and for the wider Movember community. We ran a pop up barbershop over the October Bank Holiday weekend, where customers got a haircut and a hot-towel shave from the crew at Sam's Barbers - in addition to receiving a free men's health check from Full Health Medical. We're also running a pop up Irish Coffee shop at The South William in Dublin for our #IrishCoffeeDay on Friday 25th November. A fundraiser with a twist - literally. Great to be working with Great Irish Beverages and Moyee Fairchain Coffee on that one. If you're in town on the day, pop in for one  - and give yourself a creamy Mo.

Fillit also facilitated the 'Big Mickeys Pop Up Sausage' event - where restaurants Ukiyo, Currabinny and Coppinger Row created bespoke hot dog recipes and sold them to raise funds for men's health on the day. Check out the video.

“One of the biggest challenges for people when it comes to hosting an event is finding the right space and covering the rental cost,” says John Carroll, Founder of Fillit. “By enlisting the help of communities and providing a platform to list spaces, we’re hoping to inspire people to do something different and ‘Stop Men Dying Too Young’.”

Hosting your own Mo Event is great way to raise funds for Movember - and you can host at anytime of the year, not just November. You should find plenty of venue inspiration on the Fillit website.
